i was listening to the co talk to my wife’s congregation on sunday and pretty much the complete talk was justifying doctrinal and organizational changes and pretty much preparing the ‘rank and file’ for upcoming changes.
anyone on hear have any insight of what ‘new light’ is coming in the future?.
Any changes of doctrine will be trivial items that will largely go unnoticed and mostly not understood or cared about.
I cannot see any major changes such as dropping 607BCE which would wake up too many if they admitted they had had this date wrong since they changed from 606BCE back in 1943.
The investment in Ramapo and such shows it is going to be a digital future and selling KH's and AH's will speed this along.
I may be too old to see many of the changes but they will come.

so i have not been to a kh for 26 years.
if i wanted to dissociate what would be the procedure and is there any gain in doing it so long after i left?.
I suppose all congregations are different.
In my congregation after a fortnight you'll probably be forgotten. We have quite a lot of old/sick ones, some in nursing homes. They never get a mention until the announcement for the funeral.

after watchtower got banned in russia and buildings seized, lot's jws said russia would be punished.
org kept losing in court with child abuse cases.
Don't blame God. The problems are caused by having incompetent ex missionaries, ex DO's and the like trying to run a multi billion dollar corporation. They have no education, no training and no real experience. A recipe for disaster.

for the last 15 year's probably 25 person i knew or more were df, pimo, left by own will, inactive.
Four years ago we had a congregation with just on 100 active publishers. I have no idea how many report now but our meeting attendance, even with ZOOM is rarely above 50. There is a malaise even among the elders, trying to get people to answer is like getting blood out of a stone.

How will this list of names be conveyed to the earthly survivors? I suspect MBC's idea of the CIA stars is the most likely. They will be erected on a wall, blank of course, and during the night they will be magically miraculous filled in or engraved by an angel with an engraving tool and a scroll, probably written by Chief David Splane.

Can someone with dementia die and leave their money to the Society in their will?
Definitely! I remember a case some years ago where a brother was disfellowshipped but died before he changed his will, leaving everything to the WT Society. Not only did they accept it but refused to make a small donation from it to the autistic nephew of the brother.
